St Bernardus Abt matured for 6 months in Oak Calvados barrels.
It pours deep brown with a thick beige head. Nose is light weird herbs, brown sugar, sweet, light soap, brown banana… Taste: sweet malt, brown sugar, dried fruit, yeast, oak, caramel, cherry and cognac. Body: Full body with a great, crisp, carbonation. A very very nice brew.

St-Bernardus Christmas Ale 10°
St-Bernardus Christmas Ale 10°
St. Bernardus Christmas Ale is the youngest descendant in the illustrious family of delicious Abbey Ales by Brewery St. Bernardus.
Pours a cloudy, dark brown/mahogany colour with thick, foamy (slightly creamy) off white head that lingers. Nice lacing. Sweet and spicy aroma with hints of fruits and yeast. High carbonation, kind of like a chimay. Really refreshing even though it is sweet as well. Quite boozy with tastes of dates, a hint of cherries and a lot of spices. Great palate with a nice balance. Very fitting Halloween/Christmas season beer.

A DREAM!!!
Pours a very dark brown coloured beer, with a light beige head on top, almost two fingers in size, thick enough, with average retention and light lacing left on the glass. Aroma is dried fruit, honeyed caramel, light grape and port notes, vanilla, dark rum soaked bread, drier barrel elements. Taste is caramel and fruity port, dark toffee, yeast and honey, spicy bitterness, finishing with light chocolate and brown sugar. Smooth, medium heavy body. Pretty nice.

This beer is one the hardest genuine Trappist beers to find!
Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a thick biege head. Aroma is a bit sweet with fruit and caramel. Really nice full and chewy mouthfeel. Raisins, brown sugar, dark fruits, alcohol, and caramel are right upfront. Nice lingering aftertaste. There’s a lot to sink your teeth into, so to speak. A really complex beer that wants you to ask for more.
