Beer Tribute to the famous Antwerp Red Star LIne, this ’transatlantic’ Amber-Red ale is a ’beer-bridge’ between Belgium and the US, and is a fusion of typical Belgian Brewing tradition with US Craft Influences. Brewed using only malts (4 types) without any added sugar, generous yet balanced in Belgian and US aromatic hops, finished with Ginger and Coriander. A mild and balanced, highly drinkable yet complex ale. Rated World’s Best Pale Ale at World Beer Awards 2016, after winning numerous silver and bronze medals at other contests.
Clear amber with nice off white head that leaves some minuscule bubbles. Aromatic-hoppy, citrusy-tropical nose with mild spiciness and caramely malt. Flavor is very aromatic-hoppy with both herby and tropical hops, a slight gingery spiciness in the finish, and toffee-caramely maltiness. Well balance between fruity sweetness and the bitterness from the spices. The finish is light dry and bitter.
To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the revival of the Oud Beersel Brewery, the brewmaster transposed his blending skills on blending “Ale” with “Lambic” to create Bersalis Sourblend, a beer that will conquer the hearts of people that yet need to fall in love with the traditional Lambic beers.
Bersalis Sourblend is a refreshing sour blonde ale with the malty character of a Belgian blonde ale and the complex aromas of traditional Lambic. The lactic fermentation of the Lambic adds a gently sour touch to the beer, making the beer very refreshing while still having the main body of a top fermented beer. The Brettanomyces originating from the Lambic contribute further to the profoundness of this mixed fermented sour ale.
Very cloudy pale yellow beer, big solid creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Smell is typical witbier. Aroma is orange, wheat and yeast, along with herbal and citric notes. Has a strong taste with medium sweetness and light lemony sourness. Quite fizzy and very refreshing. Light-bodied. Overall, a delicious wheat beer. Quite a classic.
A heavily hopped beer brewed using home-baked malt. Triporteur From Heaven is the modern version of traditional hopped ale. It is a heavenly beer brewed with home-baked BOM malt. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can produce a light cloudiness. The taste of Heaven remains evolving in the bottle.
Cloudy golden yellow with very big white head. Fruity and flowery hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit and pineapple, backed by slightly bready malt and a tinge of Belgian yeasty spice. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a dry and crisp mouthfeel. Mildly (cara-)malty taste with fruity and slightly resiny hops; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with an aromatically hoppy tail and a light but also rounded malty sweetness.
Clear yellow golden color, small to average sized white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell is bit bitter ( spicy side ) , some sweetness . Some yeast character . ice taste at first, fresh and refreshing with apricot, some peach, orange, a touch of sourness and a kind of off-putting metalic finish that thankfully doesn’t last for long. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste.
Anglium extra hop is a hoppy blond Belgian specialty beer with a fresh and soft taste, that undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle. As the name suggests, Anglium Extra Hop has a pleasant, fruity aroma and a spicy and strong hop character. To optain the flavors and aromas better to their full potential, as a filter centrifuge method is applied. This may result in slightly more sediment and yeast hop parts at the bottom of the bottle. Alcohol content: 6,5% Anglium Extra Hop and Anglium Parfiat his unique concoctions, inspired by old Belgian recipes. On the point made in an artisanal brewery locally, both are produced in a professional Belgian brewery commissioned Anglium Ltd.

The Silly Sour has been part of our range ever since our brewery was founded by Marcelin Meynsbrughen in 1850. It is brewed with 13% of young beer and 87% of aged beer. The result is a complex beer, fruity and pleasantly acidic. It provides very intense and refreshing sensations.
Pours brown with ruby highlights, thin off white head. The aroma is nutty, slightly rustic yeasty note, hints of tartness. The flavor is cherry, nutty, almost medicinal at times, malty sweetness in the finish. This is a yeast driven beer with the soft acidity clearing my palate after each sip.
