The first beer created by Brussels Beer Project, elected by more than 850 Brussels’ locals in the summer of 2013, beating 3 competeting prototypes (Alpha, Beta and Gamma). The Delta takes you on a tropical journey through Brussel with its notes of lychee, passion fruit before it strikes you with its refreshing bitterness and indefinite thirst-quenching ability.

Brewed by La Binchoise brewery, this beer is a Belgian special beer, amber, refermented in bottle, to which a dry hopping brings a wind of freshness and modernity.
Clear amber colour with a fine head and a correct lacing, floral hoppiness with notes of caramel, medium-bodied, fine bitterness, the finish is quite dry, moderately malty with reminiscence of caramel – fresh and subtle Orange to pale in color. Little to no head. Low carbonation. Aroma is slightly citric and phonelic hinting at roasted malts. Light body, roasty and citric flavor. Clean finish, dry with little aftertaste.
Christmas is fast approaching and winter beers are coming into their own. The Verhaeghe Brewery is also releasing a beer called ‘Barbe Noël’ (Christmas beard), which undergoes primary fermentation in cylindrical conical tanks for fourteen days, then secondary fermentation, until 10% alcohol is reached.
Poured into a glass, it reveals a golden-blond hue with a white head where aromas of spice, coriander, caramel, wood, yeast and fruit prevail. The palate has sweet and bitter flavours of malt, caramel, fruit, yeast and hops. The body is oily in texture and carbonation is low, giving a bitter, spiced finish.
Despite Simplex being an ale, it has all the characteristics of an old-styled pils. It is a blond, unfiltered, unpasteurized, hoppy and bitter beer that remains low in alcohol. Resulting in a straw blonde, highly drinkable beer with plenty of flavor and character.
Pours clear golden with a medium, staying creamy white head. Aroma has mild yeast, crisp malts, grassy hops. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has crisp malts, very soft esters, grassy, piney bitterness. Lingering bitterness, full feel at the end. Wonderful.

The hop selected for this Leffe Royale is the hops Ella, original hops from the Derwent Valley in Tasmania. This hops delivers woody, fruity notes of oak, black tea, passion fruit and blackcurrant. Hopping raw.
Probably the most complex Leffe Royale so far. Definitely not a main-stream beer, but high quality. Ella hops is known for it’s complex flavor that doesn’t showcase one or two main flavors and so does this beer. The hop flavor is well embedded in the overall beer aroma.
It is of course advisable to taste the Leffe Royale Ella in its chalice glass. We will appreciate it as an aperitif of course, but also at the table with your summer barbecues for example.
Character by Leffe: a unique beer that has matured for four weeks on wood chips macerated in a Scotch whiskey.
To brew Character by Leffe, the master brewers have elaborated an unprecedented recipe. They started from the observation that the flavors of vanilla and clove brought by Leffe’s yeast combine perfectly with the woody aromas. To create this alliance, they plunged oak wood chips into Scotch whiskey, dried them. And finally deposited them in a vat of ale for maturation. After numerous experiments, master brewers discovered that four weeks was the ideal time needed for wood chips to diffuse their flavors in beer. This sophisticated brewing process is one of the reasons why Character by Leffe is so unique and offered in limited edition.
Tripick 8° is a blond beer with 8% alcohol. The subtle character of this beer is reflected in the hopping, with a present but skilfully controlled bitterness displaying 35 EBU. The aromas in the mouth are accentuated by the use of noble hops with spicy notes. And…
Tripick is an Ardennes beer which exists for just eight months. However, it was already capable to put itself on the map as winner of the World Beer Award 2017 in the categories Lager and Strong. It’s a true honor for the proud inventors who see their craftmanship rewarded with the most beautiful beer prize in the world.
